A good quality camera feed will return the investment, because members care a lot about video quality. One of the best camera for video chat is Sony EVI-D70 NTSC(output composite and S-Video outputs and microphone, you can locate the controlling PC up from the camera).
I use Sony SONY TRV 265E Pal Camcorder with 990x digital zoom! I recommend this camera to be setup at Beach/Ski or Landscape option.

Don't have a window, or light source behind you, because the member won't be able to see you well enough. Even a single light source is not the best because it can create shadows. Having two or more light sources is the best. Play around with different light settings until you find the setup that you're happy with.

Audio is very important in videochat - save your fingers and tease your audience vocally. Make sure your microphone is always turned on when you are online!

• Smile, dance, move around, tease the members in free video chat area. You will take private very quickly!
• Have a variety of toys/tools (dildos, anal beads, butt plug ...) with you. Don't lose a customer because you do not have toys.

• Place your camera close to the screen that you are reading, so it appears that you are looking into the camera when you chat.
• Acknowledge your regulars. Remembering their name or some info will make them feel more welcome and keep them coming back. But along these lines, do not ignore the rest of the room when your regulars come in. You never know who your next private will be.
• Beware of the beggars. The ones who only say "show me this" or "show me that". Often they will promise a private if you show a little more, but rarely follow through.

• Members want to see you because of who you are. They want to get to know you. Don't be afraid to be yourself.
• Have finger and toenails painted. Always look your best.
